An Announcement With A Request

There has been an excellent website about the history and development of the G hosted by DaimlerChrysler in Graz for the past 5 years. It was put up to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the G in 1999; and I have used it off and on over the years to check on what happened when.

The website was recently taken down, because they have just celebrated the 25 year anniversary and felt that it was out of date; BUT they had not put up anything to replace or bring it up to date. They just took it down.

I emailed their website and asked if they could put it back up again; which they have done. Check it out. There's a lot of good information there.

The request is for you to bookmark and visit it frequently. If they see traffic stats, they will leave this nice little resource up and available to those enthusiasts amongst us who have an interest in this special vehicle. In fact, they might even up date it, if the stats show good numbers.

And, thank you to the folks at DaimlerChrysler in Graz for responding so well (less than 24 hrs) to a customer's request. Kinda neat!!!

I would appreciate if you could follow Dutch's request as well.
