3010 miles in France

Just returned from France, 3010 miles and only 2 G's and both non-runners! One was a 230 cabrio with hard top in someone's garden and one at a garage.

We took our swb diesel 463, and what a fine car this is! Fully loaded with 3 passengers, camping kit, 3 bikes on the back and a 500l roofbox we still kept up with the traffic at 85-90mph. Fuel consumption was a bit stiff at this speed, about 18.5m/gal, but at 70 we got about 22.5 which is more than good enough for me taking the extra wind drag into consideration.

We used my bio-diesel for 1300 miles without any problems and even got some over there to top up with again.

All in all I am over the moon with the car, only problem is that this one is my wife's. I have just sold my two toys, so I am now in the market for a auto463 lwb diesel.
