Tricky battery change
I replaced the original Mercedes battery with a Suntech 100 Ah / 950 A (3 years warranty, € 200.)
The battery is situated rear left.
But the car did not start. Problem was, that by removing the ground/earth screw (at 7 o'clock in pic A) a nut underneath the car (pic B) comes off.
The big ground/earth screw does not need the nut for tightening, but the G will not move unless you reattach the other ground cable underneath with the nut.
A few years back, the ignition sometimes wouldn't work properly, and the cause was also this #!@^% nut being a bit loose.
