Checking my drive shaft from transfercase to frontaxle.

I have replaced the seals at the transfercase. Someone did it before.
Manual says front seal face to outside inner seal face to inside, so not, inner seal placed wrong outerseal placed wrong.
I am a bit stiff too, so placed both in the classic way, to keep the oil in, most omportant to me. Proper flangepuller did the job. Flange heated to 100dgr, slided just on.

The question.
2 driveshafts are postitioned in the classic way, yokes opposite also 0-dgr.
1 shaft to the frontaxle is rotated 100-dgr, arrows are matching!!!!!!

I called to the balance company, they told me MBenz throws some tricks in, so the where not suprised.

I want to be sure, anybody can confirm, is this normal.

Since 1985 replacements could be done, replacing only one side of the axle, taken from a scrapyard.

Thanks very much.
Jos

At first the engine couldnt be noticed, know lots of things have been repaired, and i can hear the beautiful sound of the 280-6.
