Ridgeway open 1st May
Happy days the Ridgeway is open to vehicles again 8) They decided to close it to vehicles from October to end April a couple of years ago to let it recover in the winter. This time of year there is nothing more difficult than a few bushes to squeeze past along the way so you can travel from near Streatley in Berkshire past White Horse Hill to Swindon with some beautiful countryside along the way. If anybody fancies a mini G expedition we could sort out an informal meet up quite easily.
