Offer to member travelling south?
I belong to two user-group forums, utterly unconnected. I'm posting this to both.
This has nothing to do with either group interest but might be of use to someone and make me feel a little happier.
I booked a room for Friday and Saturday night in a Travelodge (Carlisle, Todhills) on the A74 as a break for my son and I on our way to look at Edinburgh University. We are now unable to travel and the rooms cannot be cancelled or the cost refunded.
It might be of use to someone coming south for the AGM of the GWOA on Sunday from Scotland or to someone from Tekguru in the North West where I believe many members reside.
Just a thought, I hate to see a waste. Private message me to let me know.
