Rust bucket....
In preparation for my first G Wagen winter I decided to start preparing wheelarches for some waxoyl. After removing rear wheelarch and rubber strip on the cill/sill? guess what I found......rust!
Was aware of the rot at seam between cill and rear wing but I actuallt poked a hole through the sill at the back of the front wing where it meets the cill panel!!
Assuming the other side is as bad what are my options?
1. Genuine panels - availability & cost?
2. Cut out rust and make repair panels?
3. Replace cills with some tube/box to give me 'rock slider' type things?
Anybody done anything similar of have any thoughts? :(
