From OM617 to OM603a

Hi,

I have now picked up my donor W124 - does anybody know what to do when it comes to the exhaust system. I'm sure I will need a bigger size exhaust pipe to let the turbo breath. My local MB dealer just told me the price for a new G350 TD exhaust system - £1500 + vat !  :-(

Also - should I just block the EGR valve off? There are an awfull lot of vacum hoses for this valve, so blocking it off is would be the easiest way...

I will soon start taking out the old OM617 "tractor" engine out - photos will come later....
