Om603 Td in a 460 from 1985 trophy truck.

Hi all,
After long inactivity a relapse of G-fever.
Originally I was building a trophy car with a V8 from a 500Sec of 85.
Now  also due to the cost of petrol and also that trophys are driven more and more through water and rivers. Petrol is not realy the ideal choice.
So everything will have to be reconcidered.
Have a possibility to buy an engine 6 cyl td out of a W124.
Have already used search option but still a lot of questions.
Is there anything I have to watch out for,
do I need special items
or need special parts
Was told to watch out for cooling issues and that radiator needs to be at same hight as original?
Is this correct?
Bodywork and chassis can and will be modified if needed.

Ps when i go for it V8 engine and engine mounts, all parts and automatic gearbox will come for sail. also all other petrol engine parts and stuff can go ( a 280 and another V8 think 6.9)
