I spent 1.5 hours going over this one. Quite a substantial project to return it to a reasonable condition, but not insurmountable.

The seller mentioned the forum and Bill is the last registered keeper before the present owner. Just wondered if you had any information to share on its history. It has been fitted with an OM602 engine, a topic that seems to have kept you busy for a while.

Needs rear door skin and new metal below windscreen, wheel arches reasonable and sills seem ok without having removed trims. Inside could do with a complete strip, may need some plating under the seats and a pair of new recaro's up front and steam rear seats and carpet. Chassis, springs and axles seem fine. Electrics may be shot, front windows didn't work and neither did the lights to show the diff locks engaged (that may be cos I don't know how to use them  ). Door locks and ignition need sorting tnx to some chavscum. And I took a load of pics which I'll be going through with a mechanic friend tomorrow.

Its a lot to take on and only feasable if myself and friend are successful in getting a unit to work on it and the figures/work balance in the final analysis. Any thoughts?

BTW, what was this in the buying advice:

In fact all G engines are too weak and jave an improper torque curve for an off-road vehicle
