Have been asked by well known G collector to sell a rare 617 factory turbo engine believed ex 300SD
Engine has been rebuilt with new block - no engine numbers ever stamped on raised boss - [ NOT ground off ]
Have run engine up - start first turn - no smoke to high rpm -no piston blow on filler cap removal
Would make a marvelous period ' correct ' upgrade for a good 460 G with a tired 617
This is the engine they rave about on the USA G forums and pay up to $8000 for rebuilds !!
