Hi - Just arrived as a new member and new owner of a 1988 G Wagen 2 Door SWB 230GE Auto. My Wagen isnt in too bad a condition with some of the expected scabs, and old filler from an old respray starting to show itself, but overall the chassis and structure is very sound. Brakes and Suspension need some improving (not so good in a straight line or braking) and I'd like to look at improvements on power and drivability so any tips on power unit or gearbox/gearing changes are appreciated
