Oily Bottom
The temperature here in the West Highlands hit 27 today and old folk were going back over fifty years to recall similar weather. It has been unutterably wonderful to be able to plan and carry out chores in the sunny warmth.
If a coat of paint slows a Spitfire by 5 m.p.h. what will 12 litres of Waxoyl inside the doors, cavities, nooks, crannies and underneath do to my 460?
We'll see, but at least it smells purposeful and delicious.
Now I just need to sort out what I hope is a worn oil seal from the rear of the gearbox...
Surely that should be achievable with minimum loss of blood?
