New axles
I'm looking for axles with gearing even down to 3.88:1 or close.. Anyone with spare axles to sell? Would prefer the wider models that were available for a few special models of the 461/460
My Wolf (originally a 240 GD with 4 speed manual box)
has 5,3 axles and since I changed the engine to a OM602 with turbo and automatic gear box I have fantastic acceleration but the box changes to 4th gear already at 30 km/h. At 85 km/h the engine revs far above 4000 rpm which is not good. The G is a lot of fun in the city but I want to be able to do longer trips too.
