Eric Clapton promotional video
Legend has that when DCAG decided to lauch the G500 in the US of A somebody recalled that Eric Clapton was a big fan of the G and they decided to approach him to see if he would do an advert for the G. Clapton was delighted to accept and he only asked for a RHD G as payment. The embarrasment came when they realised that they had already stopped production of the G in RHD and that they had run out of RHD stock. He eventually accepted a LHD.
