I'm thinking of selling, just too many vehicles and not enough space. There are some silly prices out there I know, but anyone got a rough idea?

85 230GE. Engine and running gear excellent. Chassis near perfect. Bodywork also excellent with minimal rust patches. Paintwork is all original so worn in few places. Since I have had it, I have changed the wiper seals, changed all four wheel bearings and front hub seals. Re covered front seats, fabricated and fitted aluminium roof rack, changed clutch master cylinder seals and flushed fluids. Good and very usable car. 70k odd miles and less than a year to go for classic car status. Any thoughts welcome?

Hi John,

I saw this G when you bought it just under 2 years ago.  I saw it to be solid, honest, '85 model base 230GE (pre wheel arches and alloys, and washable floors, which many prefer).  As you say, a good workhorse.  I've DMed you an opinion on current value (see your messaged here) especially given you have done some nice work on it and that roof rack is something else.

Thanks John, as ever. Decided once the threat of losing it came closer that I couldn't lose it! I did it a disservice too, it's only 19k miles, though how realistic that is, is anyone's guess!
