Has anyone bothered to do this as i have done a 2" lift front and rear to accomadate some wheels and tyres and i have noticed the brake bias has changed due to the tie rod on the valve being to short now. I have handcrafted a new one which is adjustable should the valve be open shut anywhere inbetween?

cheers simon

Re: Suspension Lift and resetting brake bias Valve on axle..

Hi with a lengthened threaded rod you need to be unladen ..on level ground jack under the rear axle and adjust the valve arm with the threaded rod until you get even braking on both drums with ONE press of the brake pedal...its a bit "hit and miss" without a rolling road and you need a lever action on each drum to feel the drag.usually the near side drum will be the one that moves easier..they need to be balanced.
