Hi all! I just wanted to indroduce myself. My name is Miika Saarikko and I am a finnish guy living in Lausanne, Switzerland. At the moment I'm not an owner of G but I hope I will soon. I'm looking forward to learn new things from you guys to help find a good G-wagen for me.

Kind regards,

Miika

Re: New member from Switzerland

Thank you all!

And to Fred; no, I haven't signed on with the swiss club. I have been thinking about it but I have postponed it mainly because I don't have a G (yet!!) and because my German and French aren't so good. I can manage with my French, though. And I'm not sure if I stay in Switzerland so long anymore. Well, at least one more year.

Hi Miika. Welcome. Switzerland eh? More and more people are saying that is THE place to go to live. Prices/cost of living good, taxes tolerable and not part of EU; all adds up to an attactive proposition in my book and I have to think about retirement now.
Anyway, there are supposedly lots of Gs there, both Mercedes badged and the older Puch models. It would be interesting to know the going rate for a used G270 (461).
