Best engine for me.
Hello i have a 617A with a 4 speed automatic gearbox, the gearbox is new.
he car runs fine, but I drive allot of highway were the cruising speed is around 120 - 130 km, but that is the top speed of my car so there to much strain to the engine and the RPM is to high at that speed, i will smoke the engine if I will drive at that speed.
So I was thinking about another engine, to replace this one, what is the best engine to fit with this gearbox and that has a higher top speed, and less fual consumtion.
Diesel only!

if the gearing is the same, the engine will still rev high. Gearing determines rev's. fit bigger tyres or G350TD transfer box for highway motoring.
Peter is right... what tyres do you have now?
Then you won't have any problems with the gearing

I have 32" and maybe I will do a bodylift and put 35" or even bigger 38" like on the pic
