Remove Dashboad W463 SWB 1993

I am having trouble removing the top side of the dash on my 1993 463 SWB to in stall a new wiper mechanism and spindles. I have cannot seperate the lower and upper part of the centre console. I can see inner bolts and nuts holding the internal lower steel structure for the console. But there are also some screw tails which I cannot access from the outside of the console. Thoughts please or picture of how the dash comes apart.

I think as I remember you might be able to access just by removing the instrument panel, use a thin plastic ruler down the sides,( think specific tools on eBay,  )but you can mark without sufficient care, so go easy, you need trim removal tools to remove the glovebox liner ( very easy to damage)

I will be raking the instrument cluster out, so will see if that gives better access to the top dash and it's removal
