Hello fellow members
Having had to sell my 1988 g because of ULEZ I have tried other cars but miss having a wagon so I'm looking for a reasonably priced either LWB or SWB 1984/1985 wagon.
Any such out there?
Thanks guys

Re: Looking for a G
I could be persuaded to part with my 85 G 230GE in very good condition. Chassis is excellent. Bodywork also, though has a few small paint blemishes. Engine, gearbox etc all fine. Wheel bearings done all round, just changed clutch master cylinder seals. Used regularly as a work vehicle. Really unsure what G's are worth these days. I'll get some more pics up soon.

Hi Henry,
I remember you having to sell :(
They are nice to float around in. But the ULEZ exempt ones will have a premium. I have one but its a 1989. I prefer the 86/7 onwards (with the alloys, not steels and grey check.)
Re: Looking for a G
Hi there and thanks for this, yup managed to sell it and would you believe it I replaced it with a 1971 Scimitar GTE convertible but, whilst great to drive and it's certainly a looker (limited conversion) but not the same as the old wagon.
found a few 84/85 but most very ropey and a couple of very dubious background, if you know what I mean?
An 89 will still mean I'll be paying the ... ULEZ for 4 years, would consider an 85/86 and an early 87 thought I'd have to drive it occasionally.
All the best H
