Mercedes-Benz G Wagen 3.0 300 GDS Auto, 3dr, 1991

Selling this for my Sister:

One family owned from new (father and daughter), this original and cherished vehicle has been maintained, regardless of cost, by an experienced G-Wagen enthusiast and is in perfect condition. It has spent a number of years in Italy, in a dry climate and has been Waxoyled regularly. Hence, the chassis and bodywork are totally rust free. (No issue with rusted-through spring towers or shock-absorber mounts, unlike many other typical UK examples.) The vehicle has recently had a major overhaul with many new, original, Mercedes parts including: radiator, alternator, headlamps, track-rods, shock absorbers (dampers), brake calipers, discs, and brake hoses and all fluids and filters and greases have been changed. A new set of alloys with new Michelin tyres and a new battery have been fitted. The pristine interior was already unmarked, but it has been professionally re-trimmed in the finest Nappa leather with piping (the original fabric coverings are undamaged and available). Was intending to keep this vehicle for many more years, hence all the recent work and new parts, but a change in circumstances has led to this sale. The car has a full service history and is mechanically perfect. The OM603 Diesel may not make this the fastest G-Wagen on the road, but it is a very smooth and refined, 6-cylinder, engine from the days when MB could justify the slogan "engineered like no other". It does not rely on electronics and is 100% reliable. But, if you desire, it will also make a great basis for an OM607 upgrade , 3 registered keepers (bought in December 1991 by father as an ex-MB UK, Milton Keynes, demonstrator vehicle, 0 miles, then owned by daughter for last 3 years)

ABS braking,  permanent 4-wheel drive, high and low ratio transfer 'box, 3 differential locks, automatic gearbox, electric sunroof, electric, heated mirrors, outside temperature display, headlamp washers, MB radio CD, Bluetooth hands-free, USB Charger and battery-voltage monitoring, Zebrano wood trim, including steering wheel, Nappa leather seats and door cards, MB side steps, wide wheel arches, chromed axle swivel joints, MB wide alloy wheels, concealed tow hitch on front bumper, MB interior mats and rubber covers. Smoke-free, pet-free. No rust.No leaks.

(Short-wheel base model is no longer in production, so limited opportunities for RHD in this version)

Arnie, I'm sure the new Michelin tyres would have been purchased on your recommendation so I'm interested to know which version they are.

I also have a similar vintage 463 G300 SWB, although mine is a petrol. Really not much if any off road use unless you count the 2 mile long potholed track we live at the end of.

Yes, I am sure she will regret it when it's gone.
